Are you tired of the sliced apple with peanut butter healthy dessert almost everyone seems to be having? Lucky you, because I have the upgraded WAY TASTIER healthy treat here that I came up with myself (: This banana - cacao nibs - hazelnut butter combo is the healthiest, nuttiest trio for all banana fans out there.

Healthy Everyday Dessert

Here it is: my absolute favorite healthy dessert - I eat this almost every single day and I do not get tired of it. It is so easy, there is really no need to actually write down a recipe, but for the sake of this recipe blog post, I will include a proper recipe below - try it out and be amazed about how simple yet absolutely delicious this dessert is. The perfect pre-workout snack, a dessert after any meal, an afternoon pick-me-up and always, always a healthy option whenever the sugar cravings are kicking in.

My absolute favorite combination and favorite nut butter of all times is hazelnut butter. To me, it tastes like Giotto. Pure bliss. I eat a teaspoon of hazelnut butter almost every day! Especially in combination with cacao nibs it tastes like heaven. Combining it with probably the most versatile fruit - banana - it makes for the healthiest everyday dessert!

Loaded Banana with Cacao Nibs and Nut Butter

Zutaten  

  • 1 Banana
  • 1-2 Tbsp. Cacao nibs
  • 1-2 tsp. Hazelnut butter (or almond, peanut, cashew..)

Anleitungen 

  • Slice your banana lengthwise and drizzle 1-2 teaspoons of hazelnut butter over the banana. Sprinkle a good amount of cacao nibs on top and enjoy 🙂
    * Feel free to add more seeds and/or nuts for extra fiber, for example hemp seeds, sunflower seeds, chopped almonds, walnuts etc.
